GamesPK | Anti-Fraud Policy
GamesPK, protecting our users, their accounts, personal information, and financial transactions is a fundamental priority. As digital gaming continues to grow in Pakistan, fraudsters and cybercriminals are also developing increasingly sophisticated methods to deceive users, compromise accounts, manipulate transactions, and misuse online platforms.
This GamesPK Anti-Fraud Policy establishes the standards and procedures GamesPK follows to prevent, identify, investigate, and respond to fraudulent or suspicious activity. The policy is designed for users accessing GamesPK from Pakistan and is intended to promote a secure, transparent, and trustworthy digital gaming environment.
GamesPK takes fraud seriously. Any attempt to manipulate the platform, obtain an unauthorized financial benefit, use another person’s identity, exploit technical vulnerabilities, or deceive other users may result in account restrictions, suspension, termination, transaction cancellation, or referral to appropriate authorities where required.
Pakistan’s cybercrime framework includes provisions concerning electronic fraud, unauthorized use of identity information, electronic forgery, and related offenses under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA). The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) is currently responsible for cybercrime inquiries, investigations, and prosecutions under the applicable framework
Purpose of This Policy
The primary purpose of this policy is to:
- Protect GamesPK users from fraudulent activity.
- Prevent unauthorized access to player accounts.
- Detect suspicious transactions and unusual account behavior.
- Reduce financial and identity-related fraud.
- Establish clear rules regarding prohibited activities.
- Explain how GamesPK may investigate suspected fraud.
- Provide users with guidance for reporting suspicious activity.
- Support compliance with applicable Pakistani laws and regulations.
- Maintain fairness and integrity across the GamesPK platform.
GamesPK believes that security is a shared responsibility. While we implement technical and operational safeguards, users must also protect their passwords, verification codes, devices, and account information.
What GamesPK Considers Fraud
For the purposes of this policy, fraud generally means any intentional action, deception, manipulation, or unauthorized activity designed to obtain money, benefits, access, services, information, or other advantages improperly.
Fraudulent activity may include, but is not limited to:
- Creating accounts using false or misleading information.
- Using another person’s identity or account without authorization.
- Providing falsified verification documents.
- Attempting to bypass account verification or security controls.
- Using stolen payment credentials.
- Making unauthorized deposits or withdrawals.
- Manipulating transactions or payment information.
- Operating multiple accounts for prohibited purposes.
- Exploiting technical errors or platform vulnerabilities for financial gain.
- Using bots, scripts, automation, or unauthorized software to manipulate games or platform functions.
- Colluding with other users to obtain an unfair advantage.
- Attempting to manipulate promotions, bonuses, rewards, or referral programs.
- Selling, transferring, renting, or purchasing GamesPK accounts where prohibited.
- Using phishing, impersonation, social engineering, or deceptive communications.
- Attempting to conceal the origin or destination of funds.
- Engaging in activity that appears designed to evade GamesPK’s security or compliance procedures.
Electronic financial fraud is specifically recognized as an offense within Pakistan’s cybercrime framework. Official Pakistani cybercrime guidance also warns users about phishing, impersonation, requests for OTPs or PINs, suspicious payment requests, and offers that appear too good to be true.
Account Security
Every GamesPK user is responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect their account.
Users should:
- Use a strong and unique password.
- Never share their password with another person.
- Never disclose an OTP, PIN, authentication code, or security credential.
- Avoid logging into GamesPK through suspicious links.
- Keep their phone, computer, and operating system updated.
- Use reputable security software where appropriate.
- Log out of accounts on shared or public devices.
- Contact GamesPK immediately if unauthorized activity is suspected.
GamesPK employees or representatives should never require a user to disclose their password or confidential authentication credentials through an unsolicited message.
Users should be particularly careful with WhatsApp messages, social-media accounts, emails, phone calls, or websites pretending to represent GamesPK.
Identity Verification and KYC
Where identity verification is required by GamesPK’s security procedures or applicable law, users must provide accurate and genuine information.
GamesPK may request information or documentation reasonably necessary to:
- Verify account ownership.
- Confirm a user’s identity.
- Prevent impersonation.
- Investigate suspicious activity.
- Protect the legitimate owner of an account.
- Comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
Submitting false, altered, stolen, or misleading documentation may result in immediate account restrictions and further investigation.
GamesPK will handle verification information according to its applicable privacy and data-handling practices and will use reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorized access.
Payment and Transaction Protection
GamesPK takes financial security seriously.
Users should only use payment methods that belong to them or that they are legally authorized to use. Transactions involving third-party payment instruments may be subject to additional verification or restriction.
GamesPK may review transactions for indicators such as:
- Unusual transaction patterns.
- Rapid or repeated transactions.
- Multiple payment instruments associated with an account.
- Transactions inconsistent with normal account activity.
- Suspicious account funding behavior.
- Unusual withdrawal requests.
- Attempts to reverse or dispute legitimate transactions improperly.
- Activity associated with previously identified fraudulent accounts.
Where a transaction appears suspicious, GamesPK may temporarily delay, reject, reverse, or restrict the transaction while an investigation is conducted.
These measures are intended to protect both GamesPK and legitimate users from financial loss.
Multiple Accounts and Account Sharing
Creating or controlling multiple accounts for the purpose of obtaining an unfair advantage, exploiting promotions, circumventing restrictions, or manipulating platform systems is prohibited.
Account sharing can also create significant security risks. When several individuals use the same account, it may become difficult to establish the legitimate account owner or determine whether a transaction was authorized.
GamesPK may investigate relationships between accounts when technical, transactional, behavioral, or other evidence indicates coordinated fraudulent activity.
Where appropriate, GamesPK may restrict connected accounts while determining the facts.
Bonuses, Promotions, and Referral Fraud
GamesPK promotions and referral programs are intended to provide legitimate benefits to eligible users.
Attempts to manipulate promotional systems are prohibited.
Examples include:
- Creating duplicate accounts solely to receive a bonus.
- Using fabricated identities.
- Generating fake referrals.
- Coordinating accounts to obtain promotional benefits improperly.
- Using automated systems to generate registrations.
- Exploiting promotional errors.
- Selling promotional benefits or accounts.
- Attempting to circumvent eligibility requirements.
GamesPK reserves the right to cancel fraudulent promotional rewards and take appropriate action against accounts involved in promotional abuse.
Technical Exploitation and Game Manipulation
GamesPK prohibits attempts to interfere with the normal operation, fairness, security, or availability of its systems.
This includes:
- Hacking or unauthorized system access.
- Reverse engineering for prohibited purposes.
- Exploiting security vulnerabilities for personal gain.
- Using unauthorized scripts or bots.
- Manipulating game outcomes or platform functionality.
- Introducing malicious code.
- Interfering with servers, networks, databases, or applications.
- Attempting to obtain restricted information.
- Circumventing security or authentication mechanisms.
Pakistan’s PECA framework contains provisions addressing unauthorized access, unauthorized copying or transmission of data, interference with information systems or data, electronic forgery, and electronic fraud.
Anti-Phishing and Impersonation
Fraudsters may impersonate GamesPK employees, customer-support representatives, payment agents, influencers, or other trusted individuals.
Users should be suspicious of anyone who:
- Requests their password.
- Requests an OTP or authentication code.
- Demands an unexpected payment.
- Promises guaranteed financial returns.
- Claims an account will be closed unless money is transferred immediately.
- Requests confidential identity documents through an unverified channel.
- Sends unfamiliar login or payment links.
Never assume that a message is genuine simply because it contains GamesPK branding.
If a user receives a suspicious communication claiming to be from GamesPK, they should independently verify it through GamesPK’s official support channels.
How GamesPK Detects Fraud
GamesPK may use a combination of technical, analytical, and operational controls to identify potentially fraudulent activity.
Depending on the circumstances, these controls may include:
- Account activity monitoring.
- Transaction monitoring.
- Device and session analysis.
- Login and access monitoring.
- Automated risk detection.
- Identity verification.
- Manual compliance reviews.
- Security alerts.
- Investigation of user reports.
- Analysis of unusual behavioral patterns.
GamesPK does not necessarily disclose all fraud-detection methods because doing so could allow criminals to circumvent security controls.
Investigation of Suspicious Activity
When GamesPK identifies potentially fraudulent activity, it may conduct an internal investigation.
During an investigation, GamesPK may:
- Temporarily restrict an account.
- Place a transaction on hold.
- Request additional verification.
- Review relevant account activity.
- Examine transaction history.
- Review technical or security information.
- Contact the user for clarification.
- Cancel fraudulent rewards or transactions.
- Permanently terminate an account when violations are established.
- Cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.
Restrictions are not necessarily proof that a user has committed fraud. In some circumstances, protective measures may be applied while GamesPK determines whether activity is legitimate.
Reporting Fraud to GamesPK
Users should report suspected fraud as soon as possible.
A report should, where available, include:
- GamesPK username or account information.
- Date and approximate time of the incident.
- Transaction details.
- Description of what happened.
- Screenshots or relevant evidence.
- Suspicious phone numbers, messages, or email information.
- Any relevant payment reference.
- Information about unauthorized account access.
Users should not send their password, OTP, PIN, or other authentication secrets when reporting an incident.
Prompt reporting can help GamesPK investigate suspicious activity and reduce potential losses.
What to Do if Your Account Is Compromised
If you believe your GamesPK account has been compromised:
- Stop using the affected session.
- Change your password immediately if you can safely do so.
- Secure the email account associated with GamesPK.
- Review recent account activity.
- Check for unauthorized transactions.
- Contact GamesPK support.
- Preserve relevant evidence.
- Do not negotiate with or pay an alleged fraudster.
If the incident involves cybercrime or financial fraud in Pakistan, users may also consider reporting the matter to the appropriate authorities. The NCCIA currently provides cybercrime reporting channels and identifies financial fraud as a cybercrime category. Its official guidance lists the helpline 1799 and its online complaint service.
Cooperation With Pakistani Authorities
GamesPK aims to operate responsibly within the applicable legal environment.
Where legally required, GamesPK may cooperate with competent Pakistani authorities in investigations involving suspected fraud, cybercrime, unauthorized access, financial misconduct, or other unlawful activity.
Pakistan’s official legal framework includes the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, while the NCCIA is identified by the Pakistani government as the authorized agency for cybercrime inquiries, investigations, and prosecutions under the current framework.
Nothing in this policy limits GamesPK’s obligation to comply with a valid legal order, regulatory requirement, or lawful request from an authorized authority.
Fair Treatment and False Fraud Reports
GamesPK is committed to treating users fairly.
Fraud controls are intended to protect legitimate players, not to unfairly restrict them. However, users must understand that security systems can sometimes identify activity requiring additional verification.
At the same time, deliberately submitting false allegations against another user, fabricating evidence, or abusing the reporting process may itself constitute a violation of GamesPK’s rules.
Zero-Tolerance Approach to Deliberate Fraud
GamesPK maintains a strong stance against intentional fraud.
Depending on the seriousness of the conduct, GamesPK may:
- Issue a warning.
- Restrict specific account functions.
- Suspend an account.
- Cancel fraudulent rewards.
- Reverse or reject suspicious transactions where appropriate.
- Permanently close an account.
- Restrict related accounts.
- Preserve relevant records.
- Refer matters to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.
Serious cases involving identity theft, financial fraud, unauthorized access, organized abuse, or other potentially unlawful conduct may receive enhanced investigation.
User Responsibility
Security cannot be achieved by GamesPK alone.
Every player in Pakistan is encouraged to remain alert, particularly when receiving unexpected communications involving money, account access, prizes, bonuses, or urgent requests for personal information.
The NCCIA specifically advises the public not to share PINs, passwords, or OTPs, to verify payment recipients before transferring money, and to be cautious of suspicious links and unusually attractive financial offers.
A simple rule should always apply:
GamesPK will never ask you to give your password, OTP, or confidential authentication code to another person.
Policy Updates
GamesPK may update this Anti-Fraud Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:
- Fraud patterns.
- Cybersecurity threats.
- Technology.
- Payment systems.
- Platform functionality.
- Security practices.
- Pakistani laws and regulations.
- Regulatory or law-enforcement requirements.
The latest version published by GamesPK should be treated as the controlling version of this policy.
Important Legal Notice
This Anti-Fraud Policy is intended to explain GamesPK’s security and fraud-prevention principles. It is not intended to provide legal advice or represent a complete statement of Pakistani law.
Laws and regulatory requirements can change, and their application may depend on the specific facts of an individual situation. Pakistan’s official legal resources currently list the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, and the NCCIA identifies the PECA Amendment Act 2025 among the applicable cybercrime legislation.
GamesPK users should comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Pakistan and should obtain independent legal advice where appropriate.
Our Commitment to a Safer Gaming Environment
GamesPK’s goal is to provide a gaming environment where users can participate with greater confidence that their accounts, transactions, and personal information are being protected.
Anti-fraud protection is an ongoing process. As fraud techniques evolve, GamesPK will continue improving its security controls, monitoring processes, user education, and response procedures.
By working together GamesPK, its users, payment partners, security professionals, and relevant authorities—we can help create a safer and more responsible digital gaming environment for users throughout Pakistan.
GamesPK is committed to protecting users, combating fraud, promoting fair play, and maintaining trust.
